Tourism ‘risk to wilderness’ in Tasmania

(The Examiner) The Wilderness Society has warned that more tourism in the state’s most protected natural areas will damage the environment. But Environment Minister Matthew Groom believes that a new draft management plan for Tasmania’s World Heritage Areas that will allow for tourist development has achieved the right balance.
