Tourists pledge to behave responsibly

Thousands of tourists have pledged to behave responsibly on their travels in Iceland since a campaign run by tourism promotion site Inspired by Iceland kicked off on Friday, reports RÚV . As of this morning, nearly 7,000 people had taken the pledge.

The Icelandic Pledge is designed to promote responsible tourism. The campaign encourages people to pledge to not risking life and limb in the pursuit of a good photo and not answering the call of nature on nature, among other things.
